
Nico Muhly is an American composer and arranger born in 1981. Known for his minimalist style, he draws inspiration from the works of Philip Glass. Muhly has composed music for films such as "The Reader", "Margaret", and "Kill Your Darlings". He also created the world's first olfactory opera and is one of the youngest composers to have a production staged at the Metropolitan Opera. A member of the Bedroom Community collective and label, his work bridges classical traditions and modern innovation, leaving a significant mark on contemporary classical music.
