Моррисси (full name: Стивен Патрик Моррисси ) is a British rock musician, singer, and poet, born on May 22, 1959, in the United Kingdom. He rose to prominence as the founder and lead vocalist of the indie rock band The Smiths , which existed from 1982 to 1987. After the band's breakup, Моррисси launched a successful solo career, releasing several albums that reached number one on the UK Albums Chart.
