
Montserrat Caballé (1933–2018) was a Spanish opera singer known for her bel canto technique and outstanding performances of classical Italian operas. Originally from Spain, she achieved fame with her interpretations of works by Пуччини , Беллини , and Доницетти . One of the highlights of her career was her collaboration with Freddie Mercury on the album "Barcelona" which became the anthem for the 1992 Olympic Games.
