Freddie Mercury (born Фаррух Булсара ) is a British rock singer of Parsi descent, born on September 5, 1946. He was the lead singer of the legendary rock band Queen , known for their innovative approaches to music. Mercury is the author of such hits as "Bohemian Rhapsody" "We Are the Champions" "Somebody to Love" and "Don't Stop Me Now" His powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence made him and Queen among the most influential figures in rock history.
