Мидж Юр (real name Джеймс Юр ) is a Scottish guitarist, singer, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer, born in 1953. He is best known as the frontman of the rock band Ultravox , which became a key figure in the synth-pop and new wave genres of the 1980s. Among the band's best-known songs are "Vienna" and "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes" In addition to his work with Ultravox , Мидж Юр also participated in the charity project Band Aid and co-wrote the famous song "Do They Know It's Christmas?" .
