
Phil Lynott (full name: Филип Паррис Лайнотт ) was an Irish-British singer and bassist, born on August 20, 1949. He is best known as the founder and frontman of the rock band Thin Lizzy . Lynott wrote or co-wrote nearly all of the band's songs, including hits such as "The Boys Are Back in Town" and "Whiskey in the Jar" . His work had a significant influence on the development of rock music, and his unique performance style and lyrics remain an inspiration for musicians around the world.
