Michel Colombier (1939–2004) was a French composer, arranger, and conductor born in Paris. His work spanned the genres of soundtracks, jazz, and classical music. Colombier collaborated with artists such as Serge Gainsbourg and Charles Aznavour and wrote music for numerous films, including "Purple Rain" and "Against All Odds" . His album "Wings" (1971) became a cult classic among jazz and classical music lovers.
