Matthias Reim (born November 26, 1957) is a German singer, composer, and songwriter. He rose to fame with his single "Verdammt, ich Lieb' Dich" which became a hit in several European countries and spent a record-breaking 16 consecutive weeks at number one on the German charts. Matthias Reim works in the pop and pop genres, and also incorporates elements of foreign rock into his work. His contribution to the German music scene has made him one of the most successful artists of recent years.
