Wir waren jung, so wild und frei,

doch als die Schule kam war das vorbei.

Sie stopften uns mit Wissen aus,

mit allem Möglichen was man nie braucht.

Physik, Chemie und Algebra

und wann Napoleon in Russland war,

und wie der Mensch sich hier vermehrt.

Gott und die Propheten, was Sünde ist und Beten,

Alles hat man uns gelehrt.

Doch wie man Liebt das hat uns keiner beigebracht.

Ich weiss bis heut noch nicht genau, wie man das richtig macht.

Ich hab geglaubt es wär ganz einfach, das kann doch jeder hier,

doch das man Lieben lernen muss weiss ich erst von dir.

Wir lernten wie man ruhig sitzt

und die Entfernung zu den Sternen misst.

Wie man korrekt die Wörter trennt

und Zahlenreihen aneinander hängt,

und auch wann Rom einst unterging,

und wie man Feinde an den Galgen hing.

Warum die Welt Armeen braucht,

alles über Kriege, Niederlagen, Siege.

Man hat mir der Kopf geraucht.

Doch wie man Liebt das hat uns keiner beigebracht.

Ich weiss bis heut noch nicht genau, wie man das richtig macht.

Ich hab geglaubt es wär ganz einfach, das kann doch jeder hier,

Was interresiert’s mich warum Atom sich spalten muss,

ich hätt viel lieber schon viel früher mehr über dieses Ding gewusst.
