Маруся , real name Марина Игоревна Симановская , was a Russian hip-hop artist and songwriter. Born on October 1, 1978, she rose to prominence in the Russian pop music scene in the late 1990s and early 2000s. One of her greatest achievements was the 2001 Golden Gramophone award, which she won alongside rapper Децлом for the song " Письмо ." Маруся retired in 2002, having left a significant mark on Russian pop and hip-hop.
