Marko Saaresto is a Finnish rock vocalist, born on December 5, 1970. He is the frontman and lyricist of the alternative rock band Poets of the Fall , founded with guitarist Олли Тукиайненом . Before forming Poets of the Fall , Saaresto had been involved with several Finnish rock bands since his youth. Among the band's best-known songs are "Carnival of Rust" and "Late Goodbye" the latter of which was featured on the soundtrack for the video game Max Payne 2 Marko Saaresto has made a significant contribution to the development of the Finnish alternative rock scene.
