Marc Ribot (also known as Mark Ribot ) is an American guitarist and composer born in 1954. He is a key figure in the guitar avant-garde, known for his experiments in jazz, classical music, and foreign rock. Marc Ribot has recorded 17 albums with John Zorn , a significant part of his career. His work includes collaborations with artists such as Tom Waits and Elvis Costello .
