Lucy Dacus is an American rock singer, guitarist, and songwriter born on May 2, 1995. Known for her work in indie folk and indie rock, she has released three critically acclaimed albums: No Burden, Historian, and Home Video (2021). In 2018, she co-founded the indie rock supergroup boygenius alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker. Her introspective lyrics and emotive performances have made her a significant voice in contemporary indie music.
