Lifelover was a Swedish band founded in 2005. They performed depressive and suicidal black metal with elements of psychedelic rock, which set them apart from other members of the genre. The band disbanded in September 2011 following the death of one of the founding members, but officially disbanded in 2015. Lifelover released several albums, including "Konkurs" and "Sjukdom" which received acclaim in the underground scene. Their work has had a significant influence on the development of the genre and continues to inspire musicians worldwide.
