Lennie Tristano (also known as Ленни Тристано ) is an American jazz pianist and composer born in 1919 in Chicago, USA. He is considered one of the pioneers of modern jazz, particularly cool jazz. During his career, Tristano collaborated with such prominent musicians as Lee Konitz and Warne Marsh . His albums, such as "Intuition" became a milestone in the development of improvised music. Lennie Tristano was also renowned as a teacher, mentoring many future jazz stars. His contribution to jazz music remains significant due to his innovative approach to harmony and improvisation.
