Known for her work in pop music and Broadway, she gained prominence with her roles in musicals such as "Kinky Boots" and the 2014 revival of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch". Her portrayal of Nikola in "Kinky Boots" earned her a Tony Award and a Grammy nomination for the cast album. In 2016, she made history as the first actress to play both Hedwig and Yitzhak during the musical's national tour.
