Калиопи (full name: Калиопи Букле ) is a Macedonian singer, composer, and songwriter, born on December 28, 1966, in North Macedonia (formerly SFRY). Her work spans the genres of pop, world classical, and foreign rock. Калиопи began her musical career in the 1980s and quickly gained popularity thanks to her powerful vocals. She represented North Macedonia at the Евровидение Contest in 1996 and 2012. Among her well-known songs are "Црно и бело" and "Роџен" Калиопи has made a significant contribution to the development of the Macedonian music scene, remaining one of the most recognizable artists in the region.
