
Johnny Green (1908–1989) was an American songwriter, composer, arranger, conductor, and pianist. Originally from the United States, he worked in the pop and soundtrack genres. His most famous song was "Body and Soul" written for the revue Three's a Crowd . Johnny Green won five "Оскар" Awards, including four for film scores and one for a short musical film. In 1972, he was inducted into Зал славы авторов песен and awarded a star on Голливудской Аллее славы . His contribution to the development of film music remains significant.
