
Japanese Breakfast is an American indie and alternative pop project led by musician Michelle Zauner. Originating from the United States, the project began in 2013 and has gained recognition for its introspective lyrics and experimental sound. Japanese Breakfast has released critically acclaimed albums such as "Psychopomp" and "Jubilee", the latter earning a nomination for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards. Notable tracks include "Be Sweet" and "Everybody Wants to Love You". Michelle Zauner has also contributed to the indie scene through her memoir, "Crying in H Mart", which explores themes of identity and loss.
