Janick Gers is a British guitarist, songwriter, and musician born in 1957. He is best known as a guitarist for the iconic heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Before joining Iron Maiden, he played with the band White Spirit and later became part of Gillan, a group formed by former Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan. With Iron Maiden, he contributed to numerous albums, including the critically acclaimed "Fear of the Dark" and "Brave New World". His dynamic playing style and stage presence have made him a key figure in heavy metal, influencing countless musicians worldwide.
