Izzy Stradlin, born Jeffrey Dean Isbell in 1962 in the United States, is an American rock musician and songwriter. Best known as the rhythm guitarist for Guns N’ Roses, he was a founding member of the band in 1985 and played a pivotal role until his departure in 1991. Following his exit, he formed Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds, releasing one album and embarking on a tour. Since 1998, he has independently released ten solo albums. In 2012, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Guns N’ Roses. His work has significantly shaped the rock genre.
