
Иван Козловский (1900–1993) was a distinguished Soviet and Russian opera and chamber singer, originally from Ukraine. His repertoire encompassed world classics, including operas and chamber works. Козловский was awarded numerous awards, including the titles Hero of Socialist Labor, People's Artist of the USSR and Ukraine, and two Stalin Prizes, first class. He also directed opera productions. His performances of arias from operas Чайковского , Верди , and Моцарта became a benchmark for many generations. Козловский left a significant mark on the development of opera and chamber music.
