
Hayedeh (born April 10, 1942, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian singer and one of the most popular performers of the 20th century. Her work spanned the genres of pop and oriental music. Hayedeh began her career in 1968 performing traditional Persian songs but later transitioned to pop, which brought her international recognition. Among her best-known songs are "Soltane Ghalbha" and "Gole Sangam" After the Islamic Revolution in Iran, she emigrated to the United States, where she continued her career. Hayedeh made a significant contribution to the popularization of Iranian music outside her country.
