Giorgio Moroder is an Italian composer, producer, and performer born in 1940. He is considered a pioneer of electronic music and one of the founders of the disco movement of the 1970s. Moroder is also a founder of the Italo disco genre. His career includes creating soundtracks for iconic films such as "Scarface" and "Midnight Express" , for which he won an Oscar . Among his most famous works is his collaboration with Donna Summer on the track "I Feel Love" which became a revolutionary track for electronic music. Moroder has had a huge influence on the development of disco and the electronic music scene.
