Franz Ferdinand is a British indie rock band formed in 2002 in Glasgow. The original lineup included Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Bob Hardy, and Paul Thomson. In 2016, Nick McCarthy temporarily left the band and was replaced by Dino Bardot and Julian Corrie.
