Einar Selvik is a Norwegian musician, born on November 18, 1979. He began his career as the drummer for the black metal band Gorgoroth , where he played from 2000 to 2004. In 2003, Selvik founded the folk project Wardruna with former Gorgoroth vocalist Гаалом . He gained international fame for composing music for the TV series Vikings and the soundtracks for the video game Assassin's Creed: Valhalla , in which he also appeared as an actor. Einar Selvik has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Nordic folk music on the global stage.
