Duncan Sheik Sheik is an American singer, songwriter, composer, and actor, born November 18, 1969, in the United States. He rose to fame with his 1996 debut single "Barely Breathing" which earned him a "Грэмми" Award nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. In addition to his solo career, Duncan Sheik has composed music for film and theater. His work on the Broadway musical "Spring Awakening" earned him "Тони" Awards in 2007 for Best Original Score and Best Orchestration. Sheik has made significant contributions to the development of pop music and musical theater.
