DJ Bobo (real name Петер Рене Бауманн ) is a Swiss singer, composer, and producer, born on January 5, 1968. He works in the Eurodance and Europop genres. From 1992 to 2007, DJ Bobo released 27 singles that charted in Switzerland and Germany. He has won 10 World Music Awards , making him the most successful Swiss artist. Among his most famous hits are "Somebody Dance with Me" and "Chihuahua" DJ Bobo has had a significant influence on the development of dance music in Europe.
