Derek Minor is an American Christian rapper, singer, songwriter, music producer, entrepreneur, actor, and screenwriter. Born in 1984, he co-founded the hip-hop label Reflection Music Group alongside Doc Watson. In 2011, he signed a joint venture deal with Reach Records, where he released music under the stage name Pro before changing it to Derek Minor in 2012. After completing a two-album contract with Reach Records in 2014, he continued his career independently. Known for blending faith-based themes with contemporary hip-hop, Derek Minor has made a significant impact on the Christian rap genre.
