Début De Soirée was a French pop/Eurodisco duo formed in 1984. Its members included Sacha Goeller, a radio host from Marseille, and William Picard, a DJ from Aix-en-Provence. The group rose to popularity in the late 1980s with hits such as "Nuit de folie" which became one of the best-selling songs in France in 1988. Their music combined dance rhythms and the melodic quality characteristic of the Eurodisco genre. The duo ended their activities in 2004, leaving a significant mark on the history of French pop music.
