Dead Or Alive is a British band from Liverpool, formed in 1980. The band has worked in the genres of pop, foreign rock, and electronica. Dead Or Alive achieved their greatest popularity with the 1985 hit " You Spin Me Round ," which became the band's signature song. In 2003, the song was revived with a remix, " Begin To Spin Me Round ," based on the Dannii Minogue track " I Begin To Wonder ." The band made a significant contribution to the development of electronic pop music in the 1980s.
