
Dan Tyminski is an American bluegrass composer, vocalist, and instrumentalist, born in 1967. He is a member of Alison Krauss & Union Station and has released four solo albums: Carry Me Across the Mountain on Doobie Shea Records, Wheels on Rounder Records, Southern Gothic on Mercury Records, and God Fearing Heathen on 8 Track Entertainment. Known for his contributions to the bluegrass and country genres, he gained widespread recognition for his vocals on "Man of Constant Sorrow" from the film O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Tyminski continues to influence the genre with his distinctive voice and instrumental expertise.
