Chris Rea (full name: Кристофер Энтон Ри ) is a British singer and songwriter, born on March 4, 1951. He is known for his raspy voice and virtuoso slide guitar playing. Chris Rea achieved his greatest success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with the albums "The Road to Hell" and "Auberge" which became cult classics in the rock and blues genres. His work has had a significant influence on the development of British rock music, and songs such as "Driving Home for Christmas" remain popular today.
