Charly García (real name: Carlos Alberto Garcia Moreno de Lange ) is an Argentine musician, producer, and composer, born in 1951. One of the most influential figures in Latin American rock music, he was a member of bands such as Sui Géneris , PorSuiGieco , La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros , and Serú Girán . His solo albums and work with bands have become anthems for generations. Among his famous songs are compositions that remain part of Argentina's cultural heritage. Charly García had a huge influence on the development of rock music in Latin America.
