Byz is a Swedish hip-hop and pop musician from Sala, born on May 27, 1984. He began his musical career in the group Inte helt oskyldiga in 1999, but did not release his first solo album There Is Still A Party Going On until 2003. In 2004, Byz planned to retire, but instead released a second album From Here To Somewhere , which was distributed in limited quantities. Thanks to the internet, his music gained popularity beyond his inner circle. Byz contributed to the development of Swedish hip-hop by combining genres and experimenting with form.
