Bootie Brown , real name Romy Robinson, is an American rapper born on November 13, 1969. He is a founding member of The Pharcyde , a group that has become iconic in the hip-hop genre. In addition to his work with the group, Bootie Brown has collaborated with Gorillaz , recording the tracks "Dirty Harry" from the album Demon Days and "New Gold" with Tame Impala . He is currently working on new projects with Imani Wilcox for their independent label. Bootie Brown has made significant contributions to the development of hip-hop and electronic music.
