Balkan Beat Box is a musical group formed in 2003 by former Gogol Bordello member Ori Kaplan, Tamir Muskat of Firewater and Big Lazy, and Tomer Yosef. The founders, Ori Kaplan and Tamir Muskat, grew up in Israel but met in Brooklyn, USA. Known for their eclectic fusion of Mediterranean, Balkan, and electronic music, the group has released several acclaimed albums, including "Nu Med" and "Blue Eyed Black Boy". Their energetic live performances and socially conscious lyrics have earned them a dedicated international following.
