Babymetal is a Japanese kawaii metal vocal and dance band founded on November 28, 2010. The band consists of three members: Su-metal , Moametal , and Momometal . Yuimetal previously joined the band, but left the group on October 19, 2018, due to health issues. Babymetal is known for its vibrant shows and unique blend of metal and pop. Among their most popular songs are "Gimme Chocolate!!" and "Karate" The band has contributed significantly to the popularization of the kawaii metal genre internationally.
