B.G.
BG (real name Christopher Dorsey) is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana, born September 3, 1980. He began his music career in 1993, signing with Cash Money Records at the age of 12. In 1997, he became a member of the group Hot Boys , along with Lil Wayne , Juvenile , and Turk , releasing three successful albums. As a solo artist, BG has released five albums on Cash Money , including the platinum-selling "Chopper City in the Ghetto" In 2001, he founded his own label Chopper City Records . BG has had a significant influence on the development of Southern hip-hop.
