Ариэль is a Soviet and Russian musical group from Chelyabinsk, founded on October 17, 1967. The group worked in the Russian pop genre and was known as ВИА Ариэль . The ensemble was led by Валерий Ярушин until 1989. The group gained popularity thanks to its vibrant performances and memorable songs, which became part of the musical heritage of the USSR. Ариэль made a significant contribution to the development of Soviet pop music, remaining one of the symbols of the era.
