America is a British-American folk rock band formed in London in 1970 by the sons of US Air Force servicemen. The trio included multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Джерри Бекли , Дьюи Баннелл , and Дэн Пик , who met at Watford Central High School. Their debut album "America" (1971), reached number one on the US charts, and the single "A Horse with No Name" became an international hit in 1972.
