Alien Weaponry is a New Zealand thrash metal band formed in Auckland in 2010 and now based in Waipu. The band consists of drummer Генри де Йонга , guitarist and vocalist Льюиса де Йонга , and, since 2020, bassist Туранга Морган-Эдмондса . The band members are of Maori descent, which is reflected in their music: some songs are written in the Maori language. Alien Weaponry are known for their powerful performances and unique blend of traditional Maori culture with modern metal, making them a prominent figure in the global metal scene.
