Alex Christensen (full name: Алекс Йорг Кристенсен ) is a German composer, producer, and DJ, born April 7, 1967. He rose to prominence as the face of the U96 project, which achieved fame with dance hits including "Das Boot." Christensen has also collaborated with Yasmin Knock , with whom he appeared as a judge on the second season of Popstars. In 2009, he represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow with Оскаром Лоя with the song "Miss Kiss Kiss Bang," finishing 20th. His contributions to dance music have made him one of the genre's key figures in Germany.
