Al Kooper (full name Кайл Лорран Купер ) is an American musician, born on February 5, 1944. He is known as the frontman of the bands Blood, Sweat & Tears and The Blues Project , although he did not remain with either band for long. Al Kooper was also a session musician, composer, and producer, playing a key role in the folk and rock renaissance of the 1960s. His contributions to music include collaborations with artists such as Bob Dylan and participation in the creation of iconic albums. Kooper has had a significant influence on the development of rock and blues music.
