Afrika Bambaataa , born Лэнс Тейлор , is an American DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer born in 1957. He became a key figure in the development of hip-hop culture, particularly for his electro tracks in the 1980s. Afrika Bambaataa is best known for his hit "Planet Rock" which had a huge impact on electronic music and hip-hop. His work helped shape the genre and inspired numerous artists. Afrika Bambaataa was also actively involved in promoting hip-hop culture as a global movement.
