Adrian Belew (born Роберт Стивен Белу ) is an American guitarist and vocalist, born in 1949. He is best known as a member of the progressive rock band King Crimson , which he joined in 1981. He has also released several solo albums on Island Records and Atlantic Records . In 2005, he was nominated for a Грэмми Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. Adrian Belew has also collaborated with artists such as Фрэнк Заппа , Дэвид Боуи , and Talking Heads . His contributions to the development of progressive rock and his experiments with guitar sound have made him a significant figure in the genre.
