Warren G, born Уоррен Гриффин III on November 10, 1970, is an American rapper from the West Coast. Known for pioneering the G-funk subgenre alongside his brother Dr. Dre, he gained widespread acclaim in the early 1990s. In 1994, Warren G released the iconic track "Regulate" featuring Nate Dogg, which became a defining hit of the era. In Europe, he is also recognized for his contribution to the compilation The Rapsody Overture, blending rap with classical music, including a standout performance over Alexander Borodin's "Polovtsian Dances." Warren G remains a key figure in the evolution of West Coast hip-hop.
