Everything Matters -

I didn’t just come here to be sad

Sometimes easier than being mad

And this is so large, and heavy, and broken

But still I want to look around and say that I can fix this

I am looking at it piece by piece

The broken glass and our injured feet

It is not the first step

But it is a prerequisite

To take in the small and decide that

Everything matters

Like

I am not the sum of my parts

I believe more than I was taught

I see good in every threat of dark

And I’m thankful for every inch I’ve got

I lov myself more than I evr thought I could

And no one will take that away from me

I love the world more than it’s cool to

And no one will take that away from me

If you can’t find hope on the store shelf

It’s fine to make it yourself-

Look in the scrap pile at all you’ve overlooked

Do some good for your mental health

Remember that

Open up your heart to the world
