Wir sehn uns oft zwa Monat net

Doch wir riskiern nix

Wir prüfen uns täglich

Wir lassn uns ka Ruh

Manchmal treibn ma’s furchtbar wild

Doch meistens ganz normal

Und manchmal san ma direkt fromm —

Manchmal san ma unausstehlich —

Und langsam wochs ma zamm!

Wir machn zwar meistens dasselbe

Doch selten nur denk ma des Gleiche

Und wenn du willst

Verwundest mi

Jeden Tag aufs Neue

Man bildt sich ein

Das was man hat

Is das, was man si nimmt —

Doch dass wir zwa uns kriegt habn

War größtenteils bestimmt

Wir bleibn zamm

Solang ma wolln

Und solang wir uns was gebn

Und irgendwie

Glaub i, i spür

Es wird sein fürs ganze Lebn

Manchmal is alles einfach

Und dann wieder net

Und manchmal is einfach ein Traum

Doch eigentlich is es unbeschreiblich —

We often don't see each other for two months

That's just the way it is, that's part of it

But we don't risk anything

We check ourselves every day

We won't let us rest

Sometimes we drive terribly wild

But mostly quite normal

And sometimes san ma directly pious —

Sometimes it's unbearable—

And slowly mamma grew!

We mostly do the same thing

But rarely just think the same

And when you want

Every day anew

You imagine

What you have

Is what you take —

But that we got each other

Was mostly determined

We stay together

As long as you want

And as long as we give each other something

And somehow

I believe, I feel

It will be for life

Sometimes everything is simple

And then not again
