Geisterfahrer - WIZO

Ich sitz' in meinem Auto und ich fahre durch die Nacht

und ich werd' einen Gedanken nicht mehr los.

So ein Hirngespinst, das mir die ganze Zeit zu schaffen macht

und ich frage mich — was ist denn mit mir bloß?

Ich spüre ein Bedürfnis und mein Hirn dreht sich im Kreis

so was Destruktives ganz tief in mir drin.

Ich versuch mich noch zu wehren und ich spüre kalten Schweiß

und ich frag mich ob ich noch bei Sinnen bin.

Ich würd so gern hinüber fahren in den Gegenverkehr

und einmal nur ein Geisterfahrer sein,

einer gegen alle und ich mach' die Straßen leer

und wer nicht weicht, den nehm' ich mit und fahr in ihn hinein…

Ich möcht ein Geisterfahrer sein.

Oh, ich krieg' das nicht geregelt und ich bin total nervös

ich fahr' gleich an die rechte Seite ran.

Bin total entnervt und glaube, dass ich mich innerlich auflös',

ich begieß' mich mit Benzin und zünd' mich an.

I feel a need and my brain is spinning in circles

and just be a wrong-way driver for once,

Oh, I can't get this sorted and I'm super nervous

I'll pull over to the right side.

I'm totally unnerved and believe that I'm dissolving inside,

I douse myself with petrol and set myself on fire.
